the advancement of education in medicine, science and the arts in particular for children and young people from ethnic minority backgrounds. the object of the cio is to advance the education of young people in the united kingdom for the public benefit in particular by:(a) providing financial support, or any other type of support that the trustees think fit, to incentivise and encourage young people, especially young women from low-income backgrounds, to study science, technology, engineering and maths (stem); and(b) advising and assisting such persons to enter and progress in stem-related occupations.
