the objects of the charity ('the objects') are to advance the education and research into all aspects of the caves, mines, quarries and other associated locations within mendip and the surrounding regions, in particular but not exclusively by:- maintaining a registry of all caves, mines, quarries and other associated locations within mendip and the surrounding regions;- maintaining an archive of all information relating to the above, including but not limited to photographs, surveys, logbooks and bibliographies;- collating and publishing the above information so as to make widely available for the purposes of research, education, sport and general interest.
