payment to three women living in the almshouses weekly sum to the occupants of the elizabeth warner cottage. the benefit of the almspeople of springfield green almshouses the provision and maintenance of homes for aged poor persons. almshouses for poor persons who at the time of appointment attend or until prevented by infirmity or illness attended any non-conformist church or chapel in chelmsford. to provide homes for deserving persons of either sex who are either aged or permanently physically disabled. to maintain a home for necessitous aged persons of either sex (preference given to married couples) living in the urban district of hoddesdon. the trustees shall apply the income of the charity for the benefit of the residnts in the almshouses of the charity or any of them in such manner as the trustees think fit from time to time. almshouses for poor persons who are resident in the area of the parish of broomfield as constituted on 14th august 1979. almshouses for poor widows or spinsters of good character who are not less than 55 years of age being members of any protestant denomination. dwelling houses for aged and needy persons connected with the union of evangelical churches or other free church body residing in the country borough of southend-on-sea. almshouses for poor persons of good character resident in the area of benefit with a preference for - (a) persons qualified as above and belonging to a non-conformist denomination; (b) persons who are resident in the parishes of falkenham, kirton, trimley st. martin and trimley st. mary. any residue of income after payments to be applied for the benefit of the almspeople. provision of almshouses for aged persons who are poor, invalid or infirm and are resident in the parish of hampstead. almshouses for persons in need who are resident in the ancient parish of writtle at the time of appointment. the benefits of the residents in the almshouses of the charity or any of them in such manner as the trustee thinks fit from time to time. the provision and maintenance of almshouses for poor aged persons of good character who have been resident in the area of benefit for a period of not less than 2 years preceding their appointment. 1) to acquire, manage, maintain and develop almshouses and other charitable trust property for the benefit of people in need of housing;2) such other purposes at the trustees' absolute discretion which may be charitable according to the law of england and wales.in furtherance of these purposes, the cio may take over and manage established permanent endowments in accordance with the original objects of the trusts relating to each permanent endowment.
