to promote sustainable development in the horn of africa region for the benefit of the public by:(a) the relief of poverty and the improvement of the conditions of life in socially and economically disadvantaged communities ; (b) the promotion of sustainable means of achieving economic growth and regeneration.to advance the education of the public in subjects relating to sustainable development and the protection, enhancement and rehabilitation of the environment and to promote study and research in such subjects provided that the useful results of such study are disseminated to the public at large.sustainable development means “development which meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.”•the relief and assistance of people in any part of the horn of africa regions who are the victims of war or natural disaster, trouble, or catastrophe in particular by the supply of shelter, food and medical aid to such persons. •the promotion of social inclusion for the public benefit among people who are refugees and asylum seekers, in particular from east africa, who are socially excluded on the grounds of their social and economic position, by providing in particularly but not exclusively by providing:1. education and training, including vocational skills and required skills to find employment;2. social and recreational facilities and events involving the local community.3. interpreting/translating/advocacy/ health/housing advice and education.
