the band's objects are to promote, maintain, improve and advance education. for this purpose the band encourages the art of music without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing objects. to achieve this the band's aims are to organise, manage and provide assistance in the organisation management or provision of wind band music and performances. to foster and encourage the appreciation furtherance and practice of music by scholarships, studentships, prizes, competitions or other means. to establish support or aid by donation subscription or otherwise any charitable associations or institutions or other charitable purposes connected with or having objects similar to those of the band or calculated to further the objects of the band or any of them.to accept any donations and legacies and to undertake and execute any trusts which may lawfully be taken for the furtherance of the objects of the band or any of them.
