the charity’s objects (the “objects”) are specifically restricted to the following, which it may choose to carry out by supporting sport 4 socialisation zimbabwe or any other organisation:(1) to advance in life and relieve the needs of children and young people with disabilities in zimbabwe, mozambique and any other country in africa by:(a) organising, developing and monitoring adapted and inclusive physical activity programmes and other activities designed to improve their conditions of life; (b) developing their skills, capacities and capabilities to enable them to participate in society as independent, mature and responsible individuals; and(c) providing support and training to their parents and carers with a view to improving the conditions of life of such children and young people;(2) to promote social inclusion among children and young people with disabilities in zimbabwe, mozambique and any other country in africa who are socially excluded and their families by:(a) raising public awareness of the issues affecting children and young people with disabilities and their families, both generally and in relation to their social exclusion;(b) organising, developing and monitoring adapted and inclusive physical activity programmes and other activities for children and young people to promote social inclusion; and(c) providing workshops, forums, advocacy and general support;(3) to preserve the health of children and young people with disabilities in zimbabwe, mozambique and any other country in africa through physiotherapy and by providing, and assisting in the provision of, assistive devices, medication, corrective surgeries and other health and support services; and(4) to advance the education of the general public in all areas relating to disabilities and hiv/aids through the provision of support, education and practical advice.for the purposes of this clause, “socially excluded” means being excluded from society, or parts of society, as a result of ill health (physical or mental) and / or discrimination on the grounds of disability.nothing in the articles shall authorise an application of the property of the charity for purposes which are not charitable in accordance with section 7 of the charities and trustee investment (scotland) act 2005 and/or section 2 of the charities act (northern ireland) 2008.
