4.1 to promote for the public benefit the urban or rural regeneration in areas of social and economic deprivation and in particular the london boroughs of lambeth and southwark and the neighbourhood together defined by the vassall and coldharbour wards in lambeth and the camberwell green ward in southwark (together hereinafter called ?area of benefit?), by all or any of the following means:(a)the relief of poverty in such ways as may be thought fit;(b)the relief of unemployment in such ways as may be thought fit, including assistance to find employment;(c)the advancement of education, training or retraining, particularly among unemployed people, and providing unemployed people with work experience;(d)the creation of training and employment opportunities by the provision of workspace, buildings and/or land for use on favourable terms;(e)the maintenance, improvement or provision of public amenities;(f)the preservation of buildings or sites of historic or architectural importance;(g)the protection or conservation of the environment;(h)the provision of public health facilities and childcare;(i)the promotion of public safety and prevention of crime; and(j)such other means as may from time to time be determined subject to the prior consent of the charity commission4.2 to promote the benefit of the inhabitants of the area of benefit without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, nationality, race or of political, religious or other opinions, by associating together the said inhabitants and the statutory authorities, voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants;4.3to promote such other purposes as are charitable according to the laws of england and wales for the benefit of the public as may from time to time be determined.the charity shall be non-party in politics and non-sectarian in religion.
