"the objects of the cio are to manage, maintain and develop a museum in the grassington area of upper wharfedale for the benefit of the public by:(i) the ownership, purchase and/or lease of land and/or buildings for the purposes of a museum and the maintenance and refurbishment of any such land and/or buildings as may be necessary from time to time and(ii) the collection, conservation and exhibition of artefacts of historical, archaeological, industrial, social and local community interest as stated in the cio?s acquisition and disposal policy (""the collection"") and(iii) the organisation of events relevant to the pursuance of objects (i) and (ii)."
