the objects of the company are the relief of those in need by reason of addition to alcohol and other substances in particular but not exclusively by: (a)providing mentoring and support services; (b)maintaining a pool of volunteers/peer mentors who have had previous experience of substance misuse services to help and support such persons; (c)training and developing volunteers/peer mentors to support substance misusing individuals and supporting volunteers with their own development and recovery needs; (d)ensure that the needs of users of the service are met holistically, by integrating mentoring with other services; and (e) by encouraging, supporting and working with users of the service to maintain their participation in treatment, whilst addressing other support needs.
