Objects:
the objects are:(i) to advance education by promoting public knowledge and understanding of the history of the 20th century and more recent history, particularly in relation to the life and work of the rt. hon. the baroness thatcher of kesteven lg, om, frs, and in support of that object but not otherwise:(a) to collect, document, preserve and exhibit material evidence, historical objects and associated information and memorabilia and make it available to scholars and as appropriate to the public for the purposes of research, publication and discussion, and where appropriate for the purposes of viewing by the establishment and maintenance of a museum; (b) to provide education and instruction and to carry out research and to publish the findings of such research;(c) to organise and promote presentations, exhibitions and lectures;(d) to print and publish books, pamphlets, periodicals or other literature or publications and to compile, write, edit and otherwise produce materials;(e) to promote the public?s knowledge and understanding of the life and work of the said the rt. hon. the baroness thatcher of kesteven lg, om, frs by such other means as the trustees consider appropriate; and(ii) for the general purposes of such charitable bodies or for such other exclusively charitable purposes as the trustees may from time to time decide nothing in this deed shall authorise an application of the property of the charity for purposes which are not charitable in accordance with section 7 of the charities and trustee investment (scotland) act 2005 and/or section 2 of the charities act (northern ireland) 2008.
