3.1 the objects of the cio are:3.1.1 that the charity trustees shall hold the income and property of the cio upon trust to apply the income, and all or such part or parts of the property, at such time or times and in such manner to, or for the benefit of, such exclusively charitable objects and purposes in any part of the world as the charity trustees may in their discretion think fit.3.1.2 without prejudice to the generality of sub-clause 3.1.1 the charity trustees may apply the income and all or such part or parts of the property of the cio at such time or times and in such manner as the charity trustees may in their absolute discretion think fit for or towards:(a) the provision of financial support to individuals to assist or enable them to pursue their education. (b) the provision of financial support to families and/or individuals who otherwise cannot afford suitable housing to assist or enable them to rent or buy their own home.(c) the provision of financial support to any charity whose aims include advancing the arts, or cultural and urban design activities. (d) the relief of poverty or financial hardship anywhere in the world by providing or assisting in the provision of education, training, healthcare projects and all necessary support designed to enable individuals to generate a sustainable income and be self-sufficient.(e) the promotion of education (including social and physical training) of people in such ways as the charity trustees think fit, including by awarding to such persons scholarships, maintenance allowances or grants tenable at any university, college or institution of higher or further education.(f) the financial support of organisations which promote good citizenship and greater public participation in the community.(g) to advance the education of the general public in their knowledge, understanding and appreciation of the arts, culture, heritage or science.(h) the relief of financial hardship either generally or individually, of people in need by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability or other disadvantage by providing such persons with goods/services which they could not otherwise afford through lack of means.
