the objects of the cio are:(a) to advance the education of people aged 18 years and under in rural india, in such ways as the charity trustees think fit, including by providing programmes that increase school retention and contribute to educational attainment in order to raise the beneficiaries' aspirations; and(b) to promote civic responsibility and good citizenship among children and young people in the uk in particular by:(i) providing programmes for schools in the uk and rural india that enable students in the uk to reflect on the value of education for people in rural india, and for students from schools in the uk and rural india to connect with each other; and(ii) providing experiential learning and fundraising opportunities for schools in the uk that enable students to understand and develop the skills required to act as entrepreneurial individuals and agents of positive change through social enterprise.
