1. the relief of financial hardship among women living or working in rural areas by: (i) providing a forum for representation, information sharing, data collection, collaboration and networking among ngo and charity organisations,(ii) providing women with credit response to their needs to start up individual income-generating activities increasing the number of women who engage in and manage such activities on their own;(iii) providing assistance to enable women to become involved in sustainable agriculture.2. to develop the capacity and skills of women living or working in rural areas of uganda in such a way that they are better able to identify, and help meet, their needs and to participate more fully in society.3. to preserve and protect health by:(i) promoting hygiene and sanitation and ensuring that the community at large have access to safe clean water;(ii) creating hiv/aids awareness amongst member organisations and the community at large.
