Objects:
the objects of the cio are the advancement of education, the relief of poverty, the advancement of religion and the promotion of aid and such other purposes as are recognised by english law to be exclusively charitable and in particular but without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing: (1) the preservation for the public benefit of the whole or such part or parts of the buildings and their grounds and surroundings known as titsey place in the county of surrey (?titsey place?) as shall or may hereafter be vested in the charity trustees; (2) the protection and improvement of the amenities of titsey place for the public benefit; (3) the preservation for the public benefit of furniture and pictures and chattels of any ordinarily kept at titsey place; (4) the facilitation and encouragement of access to the study and appreciation of titsey place and such furniture, pictures and chattels aforesaid by the general public; (5) the provision at titsey place or such part of it as shall be appropriate in the interests of social welfare and for the purpose of improving the conditions of life for the persons whom the same are intended of facilities for physical recreation which shall be available to members of the public at large; and (6) the facilitation and encouragement of the use and occupation of the whole or part of titsey place and the use of such chattels as aforesaid for charitable purposes.
