the following objects are for the public benefit:-to advance education (in the subject of postnatal and perinatal mental health; specifically postnatal depression) and to promote and protect good health by:-(a) promoting the education of individuals working within the healthcare sector in such ways as the charity trustees think fit, including but not limited to collating research and working alongside healthcare professionals to improve areas of maternity care highlighted in our studies as requiring attention; (b) assisting in such ways as the charity trustees think fit with any charity established for this purpose;(c) educating the public in general (particularly amongst those in the healthcare sector, and those suffering from postnatal depression) on the subject of postnatal & perinatal mental illness and by supporting research in all aspects of that subject and to publish the useful results into the public domain; and(d) working in partnership with learned societies and institutions in the field of maternity services, mental health care, nursing and medicine and governmental departments to conduct research with the aim of improving the overall care of those suffering with postnatal & perinatal mental illness.
