any charitable purpose or purposes relating to the general or any specific purposes of the guy’s and st thomas’ nhs foundation trust or the purposes of the health service (as described in section 1 of the nhs act 2006 or any statutory modification of that section) to apply the annual income for the following purposes:for the benefit of in or out patients who are or have been treated at guy's hospital or any other hospital or facilities operated by or in connection with the guy's and st thomas foundation nhs trust , including assistance in meeting the medical or hospital charges of paying patients who experience unforeseeable financial difficulties arising during the course of their treatment at any such hospital or facility a. for providing extra comforts for the patients at the said hospital or any other hospital or facilities operated by or in connection with the guy's and st thomas foundation nhs trust including gifts of clothing or additional medical or surgical appliances on leaving any such hospitals or facilities.b. for the provision of accommodation for the use of relations, who come from a distance, of patients at the said hospitals or facilities. income for the purposes of medical research for any charitable purpose or purposes relating to the national health service wholly or mainly for diabetes and endocrine services provided by guy's and st thomas' hospitals . for benefit of the health and well being of children and families accessing children's services at the guy's and st thomas' foundation nhs trust for the relief of people receiving care at the lane fox respiratory unit, and whether receiving such care in the unit or in their own homes, by the refurbishment of the unit and the provision of equipment and amenities which would not normally be provided by the nhs for any charitable purpose or purposes relating to the national health service wholly or mainly for the improvement of treatment of chronic pain sufferers especially those attending the input pain management unit at any hospitals or other facilities managed by guys' and st thomas' foundation nhs trust for such charitable purpose or purposes relating to the relief of sickness among patients or former patients whose treatment is or was co-ordinated at the dreadnought unit and development of staff dealing with such patients or former patients as the trustees shall in their absolute discretion determine research into the causes, effect and treatment of cerebral palsy and other causes of movement disorders in children and physical conditions resulting therefrom the relief of patients and former patients of the hospitals operated by the guy's and st thomas' foundation nhs trust, preference being given to those in need of financial assistance, by the provision of grants, equipment, services or facilities. for any charitable purpose or purposes relating to the national health service and in particular to advance the education (individually or generally) of and to relieve when in need:1. physiotherapists trained at st thomas' hospital school of physiotherapy.2. qualified physiotherapists employed by guy's and st thomas' nhs foundation trust.provided that such education, including professional training, may be provided in either the united kingdom or abroad promoting the health, wellbeing and efficiency of nurses, who (1) have been working at any hospitals or other facilities managed by the guy's and st thomas' foundation nhs trust for at least two years and (2) are considered by the trustee to be in need of charitable relief by the provision of recuperative holidays or other assistance for charitable purposes relating to primary care and community health in particular in the london boroughs of lambeth, lewisham and southwark or to purposes relating to the health service. a) the advancement of health (which includes the prevention or relief of sickness, disease or suffering) of all those affected, whether directly or indirectly, by myeloproliferative neoplasm (mpn);b) the relief of those in need by reason of being affected, whether directly or indirectly, by mpn; andc) the advancement of education, public knowledge and understanding relating to mpn. for the relief of sickness amongst people with cancer and in particular but without limitation: a) the investigation of the cause and the prevention, treatment, cure and defeat of cancer in all its forms; b) the advancement of scientific and medical education and research relating to cancer; c) the furtherance of any other charitable purposes for the relief of persons suffering from cancer for the relief of nurses, midwives or nursing assistants or former nurses of guy's and st thomas' nhs foundation trust (beneficiaries) in need, hardship or distress and for the promotion of education of beneficiaries. the objects of the charity are any charitable purpose or purposes: relating to the general or any specific purposes of the foundation trust or the purposes of the health service (as described in section 1 of the national health service act 2006 or any statutory modification of that section). to apply the income, and all or such part or parts of the capital, at such time or times and in such manner to, or for the benefit of, any charitable purpose or purposes relating to the general or any specific purposes of the guy's and st thomas' nhs foundation trust.
