the objects of the cio are the advancement of education for the public benefit in such ways as the charity trustees think fit, including but without limitation by designing and running annual competitions such as annual writing competitions open to all anywhere in the world which will:a) promote original and critical thinking on and interaction around questions of education; andb) promote the self-confidence of non-native speakers of the language of the competition to write in that language as a means of developing their ability to participate in a global knowledge society.
