for the relief of suffering at alder hey hospital by the provision of a hospital radio service assisting patients in need or their parents living outside the merseyside area with travel to alder hey hospital for the charitable purpose or purposes principally but not exclusively at or in connection with the royal liverpool children's nhs trust, which will further the following aims: a) the relief of sickness of patients suffering from leukaemia or its effects; b) the investigation of the causes of leukaemia and the prevention, cure and defeat of leukaemia in all its forms; c) the advancement of scientific and medical education and research in topics related to leukaemia; d) the furtherance of any other charitable purposes for the relief of persons suffering from leukaemia. for the charitable purpose or purposes principally but not exclusively at or in connection with the royal liverpool children's nhs trust, which will further the following aims: a) the relief of sickness of patients suffering from brain disorders or its effects; b) the investigation of the causes of brain disorders and the prevention, treatment, cure and defeat of brain disorders in all its forms; c) the advancement of scientific and medical research in topics related to brain disorders; d) the furtherance of any other charitable purposes for the relief of persons suffering from brain disorders. for the charitable purpose or purposes principally but not exclusively at or in connection with the royal liverpool children's nhs trust, which will further the following aims: a) the relief of sickness of patients suffering from illnesses requiring neurosurgery or its effects; b) the investigation of the causes of brain disorders and the prevention, treatment, cure and defeat of brain disorders in all its forms; c) the advancement of scientific and medical research in topics related to neurosurgery; d) the furtherance of any other charitable purposes for the relief of persons who have had or require neurosurgery. for the charitable purpose or purposes principally but not exclusively at or in connection with the royal liverpool children's nhs trust, which will further the following aims: a) the relief of sickness of patients suffering from spinal problems or its effects; b) the investigation of the causes of spinal problems and the prevention, treatment, cure and defeat of spinal problems in all its forms; c) the advancement of scientific and medical research in topics related to spinal problems; d) the furtherance of any other charitable purposes for the relief of persons suffering from spinal problems. for the charitable purpose or purposes principally but not exclusively at or in connection with the royal liverpool children's nhs trust, which will further the following aims: a) the relief of sickness of patients suffering from cancer or its effects; b) the investigation of the causes of cancer and the prevention, treatment, cure and defeat of cancer in all its forms; c) the advancement of scientific and medical research in topics related to cancer; d) the furtherance of any other charitable purposes for the relief of persons suffering from cancer. for the charitable purpose or purposes principally but not exclusively at or in connection with the royal liverpool children's nhs trust, which will further the following aims: a) the relief of sickness of patients receiving palliative care; b) the advancement of scientific and medical research in topics related to palliative care; c) the furtherance of any other charitable purposes for the relief of persons receiving palliative care. for the charitable purpose or purposes principally but not exclusively at or in connection with the royal liverpool children's nhs trust, which will further the following aims: a) the investigation of the cause of sickness and disease and the prevention, treatment, cure and defeat of sickness and disease in all its forms; c) the advancement of scientific and medical research in topics related to sickness and disease; d) the furtherance of any other charitable purposes for the relief of persons suffering from sickness and disease who are or have been treated by the royal liverpool children's nhs trust. for the charitable purpose or purposes principally but not exclusively at or in connection with the royal liverpool children's nhs trust, which will further the following aims: a) the investigation of the causes of pheynlketonuria (pku) and the prevention, treatment, cure and defeat of pku and other metabolic conditions in all its forms; b) the advancement of scientific and medical research in topics related to pku and other metabolic conditions; c) the furtherance of any other charitable purposes for the relief of persons suffering from pku and other metabolic conditions. for any charitable purpose directed towards alleviating those who have been affected by the death of a child and in particular the protection and promotion of good health both mental and physical for the purpose or purposes of providing overnight accomodation to parents of children being treated at alder hey hospital for the relief of sickness of the alder hey hospital by promoting the efficient performance of their duties by the social workers based at that hospital through the provision of additional training courses for the relief of suffering at alder hey hospital by the development of a wildlife garden and maze for the charitable purpose or purposes principally but not exclusively at or in connection with the royal liverpool children's nhs trust, which will further for the relief of suffering at alder hey hospital by the provision of toys and play equipment on wards and in departments for the relief of sickness at the alder hey hospital by promoting the efficient performance of their duties by the nurses of that hospital through the provision of additional training courses and discretionary nurse treats for the relief of sickness of patients suffering from from urological disorders or its effects, who are or have been treated by the royal liverpool childern's nhs trust for the charitable purpose or the advancement of scientific and medical education and research for the relief of sickness of patients suffering from oral disorders or its effects, who are or have been treated by the royal liverpool children's nhs trust for the relief of sickness of patients suffering from orthopaedic problems or its effects, who are or have been treated by the royal liverpool children's nhs trust for the relief of sickness of patients suffering from cleft palates and related disorders or its effects, who are or have been treated by the royal liverpool children's nhs trust for the relief of sickness of patients suffering from kidney disorders or its effects, who are or have been treated by the royal liverpool children's nhs trust for the relief of sickness of patients suffering from connective tissue disorders or its effects, who are or have been treated by the royal liverpool children's nhs trust for the relief of sickness of patients suffering from eye disorders or its effects who are or have been treated by the royal liverpool children's nhs trust for the charitable purpose or purposes of the advancement of scientific and medical education and research by the provision of library facilities at alder hey hospital for the relief of sickness of patients suffering from haemophilia or hiv or its effects, who are or have been treated by the royal liverpool children's nhs trust for the charitable purpose or purposes principally but not exclusively at or in connection with the royal liverpool children's nhs trust, which will further the following aims: a) the relief of sickness of patients suffering from blood disorders or its effects; b) the investigation of the causes of blood disorders and the prevention, treatment, cure and defeat of blood disorders in all its forms; c) the advancement of scientific and medical research in topics related to haematology; d) the furtherance of any other charitable purposes for the relief of persons suffering from blood disorders. for the relief of sickness of patients suffering from gastroenteritis or its effects, who are or have been treated by the royal liverpool children's nhs trust for the charitable purpose of the pastoral team in alder hey hospital n administering to the patients, parents and staff for the relief of sickness of patients suffering from hearing disorders or its effects, who are or have been treated at royal liverpool children's nhs trust for the relief of sickness of patients suffering from facial disfigurement or its effects, who are or have been treated by the royal liverpool children's nhs trust for the charitable purpose or purposes principally but not exclusively at or in connection with the royal liverpool children's nhs trust, which will further the following aims: a) the relief of sickness of patients suffering from cardiac disorders or its effects; b) the investigation of the causes of cardiac disorders and the prevention, treatment, cure and defeat of cardiac disorders in all its forms; c) the advancement of scientific and medical research in topics related to cardiac disorders; d) the furtherance of any other charitable purposes for the relief of persons suffering from cardiac disorders. for the relief of sickness of patients suffering from burns and related injuries or its effects, who are or have been treated by the royal liverpool children's nhs trust for the relief of sickness of patients suffering from cystic fibrosis or its effects, who are or have been treated by the royal liverpool children's nhs trust for the charitable purpose or purposes principally but not exclusively at or in connection with the royal liverpool children's nhs trust, which will further the following aims: a) the relief of sickness of patients suffering from asthma or its effects; b) the investigation of the causes of asthma and the prevention, treatment, cure and defeat of asthma in all its forms; c) the advancement of scientific and medical research in topics related to asthma; d) the furtherance of any other charitable purposes for the relief of persons suffering from asthma. for any charitable purpose or purposes relating to the national health service wholly or mainly for the alder hey children's hospital and associated services for the charitable purpose or purposes of assisting patients in need or their parents with travel to alder hey hospital for the charitable purpose or purposes principally but not exclusively at or in connection with the royal liverpool children's nhs trust, which will further the following aims: a) the advancement of scientific and medical research in topics related to intravenous feeding; b) the furtherance of any other charitable purposes for the relief of persons needing intravenous feeding. for any charitable purpose or purposes relating to the national health service. to protect the health of persons affected by the death of a child, by the provision of help and advice including the operation of a telephone helpline to combine the investments and moneys belonging to the charities and representing expendable funds into one pooled fund. see scheme for details. 3.1 the objects of the charity are, for the public benefit:(a) to further any charitable purpose or purposes: relating to the general or any specific purposes of the foundation trust or the purposes of the health service;(b) to promote, protect, preserve and advance all or any aspects of the health and welfare of the public; and (c) to advance and promote knowledge and education in medicine, including by engaging in and supporting medical research (and the dissemination of the useful results).3.2 this article 3 may be amended by special resolution but only with the prior written consent of the commission.
