1. to advance the education of young people aged between 15 and 18 enrolled in state schools in such ways as the charity trustees think fit, including by establishing an annual residential summer school in cambridge uk with the aim of providing supplementary tuition in a-level subjects and preparation for and assistance with gaining entry to top-level uk universities. 2. to act as a resource for young people aged between 15 and 18 enrolled in state schools by providing advice and assistance and organising educational programmes and other activities as a means of: (a) advancing in life and helping young people by developing their skills, capacities and capabilities to enable them to gain entry to top level uk universities; (b) advancing education. * for the purposes of this clause, “state schools” are defined as state funded non fee paying secondary educational establishments attended by children aged between 11 and 18 years.
