Objects:
"the objects of the cio are(a) to advance the education of pupils attending each school listed in schedule 1 (""school(s)""), and any other educational institution approved by the members, by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities for education at those schools and by promoting, sustaining and increasing individual and collective knowledge and understanding of specific areas of study, skills and expertise, in addition to encouraging cooperation and school improvement between each institution whilst ensuring the distinctive ethos of each school is upheld.(b) for the public benefit to promote education of people under the age of 25 years in the diocese of oxford in such ways as the members think fit;(c) to assist in such ways as the members think fit any charity whose aims include advancing the education of persons under the age of 25 years; and(d) for the public benefit to promote learning for pleasure by people no longer in full time employment through the continued development of their individual capabilities, competencies, skills and understanding in subjects of educational value.the objects shall be carried out in accordance with the mission statement set out in schedule 2 and in accordance with the principles, practices and tenets of the church of england in relation to any school with a church of england religious designation, which school must always have regard to the advice of the oxford diocesan board of education (registered company number 07071809, registered charity number 1133586)."
