the objects of the swindon community tennis cio are:to promote community participation in healthy recreation by the provision of facilities for the playing of tennis and to advance the amateur sport of tennis for the public benefit in swindon both with the aim of improving health and wellbeing in particular but not exclusively by:- providing accessible and affordable tennis to the community;- providing opportunities for physical and mental exercise, developing agility and skills;- providing facilities and opportunities to play tennis with the aim of promoting the social inclusion of those that are excluded from society due to reasons of social and or economic disadvantage and interaction among members of the community;- running a community based tennis and social facility for the benefit of community groups and residents;- providing varied and, where appropriate, structured tennis activity programmes for all families and individuals catering for all ages and abilities; and by- providing increased opportunities for people with disabilities to take part in sporting activities.
