(2)to advance the education of the public in subjects relating to sustainable development and the protection, enhancement and rehabilitation of the environment and to promote study and research in such subjects provided that the useful results of such study are disseminated to the public at large. sustainable development means development which meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. advancement of education(1) for the public benefit to promote education (including social, physical and vocational training) in zimbabwe in such ways as the charity trustees think fit, including by: (a) awarding to such persons scholarships, maintenance allowances or grants tenable at any school, university, college or institution of higher or further education; (b) supporting education (including education in environmental and ecological study) by supplying educational materials and by undertaking activity in furtherance of that education or to prepare students for entry to any occupation, trade or profession on leaving any educational establishment.(c) establishing and nurturing international working partnerships between universities, in particular but not exclusively by facilitating opportunities for students from zimbabwe to access university education both at home and abroad and by promoting opportunities for foreign students to study and carry out research in zimbabwe up to phd level. relief of sicknessto relieve sickness and the preservation of health among people residing permanently or temporarily in zimbabwe
