to advance the education of young people by the provision of recreational and educational facilities in the summer holidays and at other times in the year, throughout the london borough of lambeth, with particular reference to developing, inspiring and empowering young people to grow to full maturity as individuals and as productive and positive members of society;to provide young people with opportunities to engage with the police service in the london borough of lambeth in non-confrontational situations in order to improve engagement and reduce real or perceived barriers between them, thereby promoting mutual understanding and tolerance; andto provide opportunities and education to young people on the constructive use of leisure time with the intention of reducing anti-social behaviour, their involvement in crime either as victim or perpetrator and to reduce the fear of crime amongst young people.
