• the objects of the charity are, for the benefit of the public,without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, race or political, religious or other opinions, to: • preserve, restore, maintain, repair and improve blackpool winter gardens, a grade ii* listed building; • to advance the education of the public in the preservation and history of blackpool winter gardens; • to further or benefit the residents of blackpool and the local area, by associating together the said residents and the local authorities, voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to advance education (particularly but not limited to the fields of local heritage and culture) • and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation, with the objective of improving the conditions of life for the residents
