Objects:

the object of the cio is the promotion and protection of good health among people suffering from diabetes in hertfordshire, in particular but not exclusively by: (a) providing information and support to such people and their families and carers; (b) advancing education in diabetes and the care of people with diabetes by organising conferences and meetings; (c) providing information and support to increase awareness and knowledge of standards of care in treating people with diabetes so as to improve management of the condition.
