Objects:

the objects of the cio shall be:(1)the relief of unemployment for the public benefit in particularly but not exclusively by the provision of advice, support and training to individuals concerning employment,self-employment and the establishment of co-operative enterprises. (2)to assist in the care and support of persons suffering from mental or physical illness or in need of rehabilitation as a result of such illness, by the provision of facilities for personal and professional development and social interaction, specifically:a)to promote and protect the physical and mental health of sufferers of depression and stress as a result of unemployment, through the provision of advice, support, education and practical guidanceb)to advance the education of the general public in all areas relating to depression and stress arising from unemployment.nothing in this constitution shall authorise an application of the property of the cio for the purposes which are not charitable in accordance with [section 7 of the charities and trustee investment (scotland) act 2005] and [section 2 of the charities act (northern ireland) 2008].
