Objects:
the charity's objects ('objects') are specifically restricted to the following:(1) the advancement of the islamic faith, in accordance with the tenets and doctrines of the qur?an and the sunnah, as interpreted by the companions of the prophet muhammad (may the peace and blessings of allah be upon him).(2) to advance the islamic faith for the benefit of the worldwide population through, amongst other things, the holding of events, lectures, prayer meetings, public celebrations of religious festivals, and producing and/or distributing literature via a broad range of media, including the development and hosting of websites, in order to educate and enlighten both muslims and non-muslims about islam. (3) to promote community cohesion and religious harmony by increasing mutual understanding, respect and trust amongst people of different faiths and beliefs.(4) to advance the education of the public in the islamic sciences, including the arabic language.(5) for the public benefit to promote the education (including social and physical training) of people of the islamic faith in such ways as the directors think fit, including by:(a) providing their education (including the study of islamic sciences and the arabic language), to undertake travel in furtherance of that education or to prepare for entry to any occupation, trade or profession on leaving any educational establishment.(b) awarding to such persons scholarships, maintenance allowances or grants tenable at any bona-fide institute of education, including universities, colleges, institutes of further or higher education, language colleges, and institutes of religious learning; in the uk or abroad.(6) to provide for, promote, facilitate, and engage in investigation and research into the islamic sciences, including, but not limited to the sciences of the qur?an, hadith, traditional islamic medicine, qur?anic therapy, cupping, and islamic herbal medicine, for the public benefit, and to disseminate the results of the said research.(7) the prevention or relief of poverty in the world by providing: grants, items and services to individuals in need and/or charities, or other organisations working to prevent or relieve poverty, in accordance with the islamic tenets and doctrines of charitable giving.(8) to relieve sickness, poor health, and emotional trauma through the provision of traditional islamic medicine, including qur?anic therapy, cupping, and islamic herbal medicine, for the public benefit.(9) in furtherance of the above objects but not otherwise, the directors shall have power to establish or secure the establishment of mosques, community centres, and educational institutes, and to maintain or manage or co-operate with any statutory authority in the maintenance and management of such mosques, centres, or institutes, for activities promoted by the organisation in furtherance of the above objects.(10) to assist in such ways as the directors think fit any charity or charitable organisation, in furtherance of the above objects.
