for the benefit of the public to protect and promote the health of the public by:(i) funding research into the nature, causes, diagnosis, and practical applications for the prevention, treatment and cure of congenital hyperinsulinism and disseminating the useful results of that research; (ii) providing support for families who have children with congenital hyperinsulinism in the form of conferences and events for education and to share learning and experience in managing the condition; (iii) raising awareness and public understanding of congenital hyperinsulinism.
