the objects of the charity are specifically restricted to the promotion for the benefit of the public generally, to assist in the treatment and care of persons suffering from mental or physical illness of any description or who are in need of rehabilitation as a result of such illness, and the relief of the elderly.without prejudice to the generality of the forgoing, by the provision of care, accommodation or other appropriate services of any description, the provision of facilities for work and recreation, or by the provision of information and support to carers within the metropolitan borough of sefton or elsewhere as the trustees shall determine;and such other exclusively charitable purposes for the public benefit as the trustees may in their absolute discretion determine from time to time.
