see individual constituents to further such charitable purpose or purposes as the trustees shall think fit, relating :-a) to the hospital services as respects the hospitals for which the trustees are the special trustees, including research; orb) to any other part of the health service associated with those hospitals. for any charitable purpose or purposes relating to the national health service wholly or mainly for the university hospital birmingham nhs trust for the benefit of members and retired members of the nursing and midwifery staff of the united birmingham hospitals and persons being trained in nursing and midwifery at the said hospital who in the opinion of the trustees are in need by assisting them to obtain rest or convalescence for any charitable purpose or purposes relating to the national health service wholly or mainly for the queen elizabeth hospital the objects of the charity are, for the public benefit:(a) to further any charitable purpose or purposes relating to the general or any specific purposes of the university hospitals birmingham nhs foundation trust or the purposes of the health service; (b) to promote, protect, preserve and advance all or any aspects of the health of the public; and(c) to advance and promote knowledge and education in medicine including by engaging in and supporting medical research (and the dissemination of the useful results).
