Objects:

"provision of a hotel to be used to provide rest, recuperation and sporting and training facilities for such persons as are entitled thereto under the terms of the principal deed for the benevolent fund and for all such other persons and for all other uses which in the opinion of the managing trustees shall maintain or increase efficiency and esprit de corps of the royal electrical and mechanical engineers (a) in promoting the physical efficiency of the royal electrical and mechanical engineers, by promoting and organising sporting events and competitions, both indoor and outdoor, and by affording facilities for all ranks thereof to indulge in, and witness games and sports, both indoor and outdoor. (b) in purchasing requisites (including land), to enable the said persons to indulge in and witness such games and sports, and in defraying where necessary travelling expenses, to enable the said persons to indulge in or witness such games and sports. (c) in making grants to any charity or charitable fund existing or hereafter established, which in the opinion of the managing trustees (whose decision shall be final and binding), directly or indirectly, benefits persons serving or having at any time served in the royal electrical and mechanical engineers, or dependants of such persons, whether or not the objects of any such charity of charitable fund shall expressly include provision for the benefit of such persons a) in maintaining or increasing the efficiency and esprit de corps of the corps of royal electrical and mechanical engineers (hereinafter referred to as the corps). b) in the assistance or benefit of any such persons serving or having at any time served in the corps as may for the time being be in need of charitable assistance or benefit. c) in making grants to any charity or charitable fund or charitable institution (wether the same be a military or civil charity) existing or hereafter instituted which in the opinion of the managing trustees (whose decision shall be final and binding) directly or indirectly, benefits the person or persons or dependents of persons who are serving or have served in the corps wether or not the objects of any such charity or charitable fund or charitable instution shall expressly include provisions for the benefit of such persons or dependents of persons. 1. to promote the efficiency of r.e.m.e. and the fostering therein of esprit de corps. 2. to relieve either generally or individually necessitous persons being members or former members of r.e.m.e. or the dependants of such persons (hereinafter referred to as beneficiaries). 3. charitable purposes for the benefit of beneficiaries. 1. to promote the efficiency of r.e.m.e. and fostering its esprit de corps. 2. to relieve either generally or individual necessitous persons being members or former members of r.e.m.e. or their dependants (""beneficiaries""). 3. to support charitable purposes for the benefit of beneficiaries.such objects and purposes may be carried out in any part of the world so long as they are exclusively charitable."
