to protect, conserve and enhance hartlepool's parks, local nature reserves and other green spaces (hereafter known as 'hartlepool's wild green spaces' (hwgs) for the public benefit in particular but not exclusively by:- helping to improve the accessibility of and routes to hwgshelping to improve the standards of hwgsseeking appropriate funding for projects related to hwgsincreasing the public's awareness about the importance of maintaining and improving the biodiversity, accessibility and standards of hwgs through various public events, conservation tasks and monitoring projectspromoting and supporting volunteering opportunities in hwgshelping to improve the facilities and educational resources of hwgsliaising with and supporting other friends of groups, appropriate organisations and community groups to achieve their environmental improvement objectives and assist groups with the organisation and delivery of practical activities and eventsbringing forward ideas and options that come from consultation with site users in relation to site improvements for public benefitdeveloping friends interest further through social activities both on and outside hwgsproviding training opportunities for volunteers involved in improving hwgs
