the objects of the charity (“the objects”) are, for the public benefit:1. to advance the education of the general public in the subject of compassion; and 2. for the advancement of the public the promotion of moral and/or spiritual improvement by advancing individuals’ and society’s understanding of compassionin particular but not exclusively by: 1) establishing and supporting the international institute for the study of compassion; 2) establishing the darwin scholarship foundation; and3) providing scholarships and bursaries for students and academic staff to understand the study of compassion across different disciplines (health and social care, education, business, resilient communities, transcultural understanding, environmental studies, mediation and dispute resolution, neuroscience and evolutionary biology). 4) to provide links between universities across the globe who will be affiliated with the darwin scholarship foundation and the international institute for the study of compassion. 5) to support the creation of an international journal for the study of compassion.
