the objects of the cio are:the promotion of any charitable purposes for the benefit of the community of the isle of wight and in particular:-- the advancement of health or the saving of lives,- advancement of education, culture traditions and heritage,- the advancement of citizenship or community development,- the advancement of amateur sport, especially for the young and people with disabilities,- the relief of those in need by reason of youth, age, ill health, disability, financial hardship of other disadvantage,- the advancement of environmental protection or improvement.nothing in this constitution shall authorise an application of the property of the cio for the purposes which are not charitable in accordance with (section 7 of the charities and trustee investment (scotland) act 2005) and (section 2 of the charities act (northern island) 2008).
