"the charity's objects (""the objects"") are :-(1) toadvance, improve and maintain public education in, and appreciation of, the art and science of music within the town of evesham and its surrounding area, in all its aspects by any means the trustees shall think fit, including through the presentation of public concerts and recitals, by bringing together local music organisations and providing an opportunity to make music together.(2) to further such charitable purposes as the trustees in their absolute discretion shall think fit, including the advancement, promotion and general encouragement of a bi-annual ""young musician of the year"" competition for the young people of evesham and its neighbouring districts to provide them with an opportunity to improve and enhance their performance skills and to receive the judgement of eminent professionals, thus encouraging them to develop self-confidence and a sense of achievement in their own area of learning."
