Objects:
the objects of the cio are, for the benefit of the public:(1) to promote human rights (as set out in the universal declaration of human rights and subsequent united nations conventions and declarations; the european convention on human rights; the human rights act 1998; and the equality act 2010, as the same may from time be amended, re-enacted or replaced) in particular (but without limitation) by means of:(a) raising awareness of human rights issues, including explaining domestic and international human rights laws to the public;(b) promoting public support for human rights; and(2) to advance education on the subject of human rights in particular (but without limitation) by researching human rights and making the results of such research available to the public.
