to advance the christian faith, for the public benefit, starting with the poorest countries of the world, primarily for people who need a new version of the bible in their mother tongue because i) they did not receive sufficient education, ii) they may have some form of learning difficulty, or iii) the language needs updating, by supporting volunteer local translators to translate the scriptures into easy to read versions in their native languages and by the printing and distribution of those easy to read versions, to do so in such manner and in such ways as the trustees from time to time shall determine and the doing of all such other things as are incidental or conducive to the attainment of the above objective.
