to relieve the need of persons living in sefton, merseyside and surrounding areas, who are currently serving or who have served in the armed forces, both regular and reservists, their families and dependents, by advancing any lawful charitable purpose at the discretion of the trustees and in particular but not exclusively by:-- providing opportunities to participate in activities which promote their social inclusion; - providing counselling, advice and mentoring support;- promoting and protecting their health and well being;- advancing the education and awareness of the public in the armed forces and;to promote and organise cooperation in the achievement of the above purposes.
