the objects of the cio are:- a) the advancement of education and the preservation and protection of good health among the public in uk in particular (but not limited to) congolese people, by the provision of a range of services calculated to develop physical and mental capacity and improving opportunities to access and eradicate the root causes of poverty in local communities so as to enable them attain self reliance .b) the relief of need and the preservation and protection of health, both mental and physical, of women in dr congo who are experiencing or have experienced rape, domestic violence or other forms of violence, in particular but not exclusively by:a) providing advice, advocacy and support and providing facilities for education and training in the interests of social welfareb) raising awareness and educating the public about domestic violence.
