the objects of the charity are to enable the member charities to better meet their respective charitable purposes, being;a) to safeguard, protect and preserve the good health, both mental and physical of children and parents of children;b) to prevent cruelty to or maltreatment of children;c) to relieve sickness, poverty and need amongst children and parents of children;d) to promote the education of the public in better standards of child care;principally but not exclusively within the area of norfolk and its environs;e) to promote the efficiency and effectiveness of home start charities in norfolk and its environs by providing support, administration, infrastructure and fund-raising through a consortium model and building a coordinated service for vulnerable children and families.within the area of norfolk and its environs.
