the objects of the cio are to promote the rehabilitation of offenders and ex-offenders and to prevent or relieve poverty or financial hardship among offenders and ex-offenders, in particular but not exclusively by, the provision of equipment and training in art, and the provision of a mentoring programme, with the aim of helping offenders and ex-offenders to realise their creative talent and acquire creative skills which will assist them with re-integrating into the community, developing a responsible work ethic, and provide them with links to employment opportunities.
