new purposes:the objects of the cio are1. to promote the christian faith primarily in young people by organising non-residential christian holiday clubs, based on the model developed in great missenden, bucks, which are free of charge with all costs met from voluntary donations, fund-raising events, grants and sponsorship.2. to promote, initiate, help set-up and support the organisation of non-residential christian holiday clubs in conjunction with christian churches in their locality through the work of all denominations wishing to participate.3. to encourage involvement ecumenically of local christians (those who can assent to the apostles creed), avoiding becoming dominated by any single denomination. note this application relates to the conversion of a charitable trust (registration no. 1071892) to a cio. it is proposed that the cio will undertake the same activities as are currently carried out through the charitable trust. the new cio will extend the objects of the the current charitable trust to allow the development of lighthouse groups beyond the environs of great missenden.
