to advance such charitable purposes (according to the law of england and wales) as the trustees see fit from time to time by such charitable means in particular but not limited to:• the promotion of agriculture and horticulture;• the advancement of the arts, education in the arts, heritage and culture;• the advancement of charitable purposes and the work of charities falling under the advancement of citizenship or community development (one of the descriptions of charitable purposes set out in s. 3 of the charities act 2011) including but not limited to the promotion of volunteering (where to do so furthers a charitable purpose or purposes), the promotion of the voluntary sector and the promotion of the efficiency and effectiveness of charities and the effective use of resources for charitable purposes by charities or other organisations; and• the provision of or supporting the provision of facilities for recreation and other leisure-time occupations in the interests of social welfare with the aim of improving people’s conditions of life all for the public benefit in the knighton, powys area which includes the public in general, public visiting the area and the wider area of powys.
