objects4 the charity’s objects (‘objects’) are specifically restricted to the following:1. advancement of religionto advance the tenets of islam for the benefit of the public in accordance with the following doctrines:a) the advancement of islam mainly, but not exclusively, by means of broadcasting messages of an evangelistic and teaching nature.b) to advance the teachings of islam for the benefit of the public through the holding of prayer meetings, lectures, public celebration of religious festivals, producing and/or distributingliterature on the teachings of islam to enlighten others about the religion.2. relief of povertythe prevention or relief of poverty for the public benefit through:a) the prevention or relief of poverty by providing: grants, items and services to individuals in need and/or charities, or other organisations working to prevent or relieve poverty.b) the prevention or relief of poverty anywhere in the world by providing or assisting in the provision of education, training, healthcare projects and all the necessary support designedto enable individuals to generate a sustainable income and be self-sufficient.3. racial harmonythe promotion of racial harmony for the public benefit by:(a) promoting knowledge and mutual understanding between different racial groups;(b) advancing education and raising awareness about different racial groups to promote good relations between persons of different racial groups;(c) working towards the elimination of discrimination on the grounds of race.[nothing in the articles shall authorise an application of the property of the charity for purposes which are not charitable in accordance with section 7 of the charities and trustee investment(scotland) act 2005 and/or section 2 of the charities act (northern ireland) 2008.]
