the object of the cio is, the relief and assistance of people with learning disabilities in any part of the world during illness for which palliative care is appropriate, or who are experiencing the death of someone close to them, by:1. raising awareness of the palliative care needs of people with learning disabilities2. sharing and promoting best practice3. enhancing collaboration between all professionals, carers and people with learning disabilities4. doing other lawful things as necessary for the achievement of these objects.
