Objects:
the objects of the cio are to relieve the need of individuals with physical disabilities, learning disabilities and mental health issues alongside their carers’ by empowering them to have a choice and control over how they are cared for and supported this will be achieved by:-· assisting to reduce isolation in the community; · working with individuals in financial trouble; · working to overcome barriers and stigmas associated with disabilities and mental health issues; · assisting and encouraging an individual who wishes to return to work or volunteering;· relieving the dependency on traditional services through supporting people to find their own support and care solutions within their communities;· encouraging individuals to recognise the skills and knowledge that they have to offer to others and the wider community in turn providing the support to enable a person to make the connections within their communities to reduce isolation and encourage people to hold meaningful and contributing roles; and· to do any other matter which enhances the objects as herein stated.
