Objects:

the objects of the cio are the following:1) the prevention or relief of poverty anywhere in the world by providing: grants, items and services to individuals and/or charities, or other organisations working to prevent or relieve property for the public benefit.2) the prevention or relief of poverty or financial hardship anywhere in the world by providing or assisting in the provision of education, training, healthcare projects and all the necessary support designed to enable individuals to generate a sustainable income and be self-sufficient.3) to advance in life and help young people through:a) the provision of recreation and leisure time activities provided in the interest of social welfare, designed to improve their conditions of life;b) providing support and activities which develop their skills, capacities and capabilities to enable them to participate in society as mature and responsible individuals.4) for the public benefit to promote the education (including social and physical training) of people under the age of 30 years in any part of the world in such ways as the charity trustees think fit, including by:a) awarding to such persons scholarships, maintenance allowances or grants tenable at any school, university, college or institution of higher or further education.b) providing their education (including the study of music or other arts), to undertake travel in furtherance of that education or to prepare for entry to any occupation, trade or profession on leaving any educational establishment.5) to provide relief and assistance to people in any part of the world who are victims of war or natural disaster, trouble, or catastrophe in such ways as the charity trustees think fit, including the provision of grants for the public benefit.6) to promote sustainable development for the benefit of the public by:a) the preservation, conservation and the protection of the environment and the prudent use of resources;b) the relief of poverty and the improvement of the conditions of life in socially and economically disadvantaged communities;c) the promotion of sustainable means of achieving economic growth and regeneration.sustainable development in this context is defined as, 'development which meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs'.7) the promotion for the benefit of the public of urban or rural regeneration in areas of social and economic deprivation anywhere in the whole world by all or any of the following means:a) the relief of financial hardship;b) the relief of unemployment;c) the advancement of education, training or retraining, particularly among unemployed people, and providing unemployed people with work experience;d) the protection or conservation of the environment.
