the organisation's objects are, for the public benefit, to relieve the needs of people with asc or adhd, their families and carers in north devon by:(a)offering informal support for the benefit of people with asc* & adhd* or suspected traits of the condition living or working in the north devon area;(b)offering informal support for the benefit of parents, carers and close family members of the above;(c)organising social events/activities for people specified in (a) and (b) above to enable them to access everyday activities that would otherwise be impossible or difficult for them;(d)maintaining & developing contact with professionals so that any information held by the forum is made available and continually updated;(e)being a signposting and networking resource to other relevant organisations;(f)raising and promoting, therefore increasing, awareness of the forum in the north devon area, such that our activities are accessible to any who might need our support.*asc stands for autistic spectrum condition*adhd stands for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder
