"1.1the objects for which why comics? is established (the objects"") for the public benefit are:(a)to advance the education of the public (in particular but not exclusively young people and school age children) on global social issues by providing literature in the form of comics, which highlights social issues such as human trafficking, to enable the children to learn and understand these issues, that will be accessible to children in schools; (b)to promote and raise awareness of human rights for the public benefit by creating comic strips which will highlight human rights issues in a medium suitable for school children, this will be accessible to schools and therefore available to school children and teachers alike;(c)to promote religious harmony and racial harmony for the public benefit and benefit of school aged children by distributing literature in the form of comic strip to schools which promote and educate people on religious harmony and racial harmony through a combination of art and literature;in all cases working anywhere in the world.1.2 in these objects:(a)""global social issues"" means: (i)issues that relate to protected human rights including in particular equality, freedom from slavery, freedom from torture, asylum from persecution and freedom of religion; and(ii)issues of global significance such as migration, armed conflict and conflict resolution, the effects of climate change, the displacement of refugees, human trafficking and other related humanitarian issues;related to or occurring anywhere in the world.(b)""human rights"" means those rights set out in the universal declaration of human rights and subsequent united nations conventions and declarations;(c)""racial harmony"" means an awareness of different racial groups that promotes good relations and reduces conflict between persons of different racial groups;(d)""religious harmony"" means an awareness of different religious backgrounds that promotes good relations and reduces conflict between persons of different religious backgrounds.1.3 nothing in this constitution shall authorise an application of the property of the cio for the purposes which are not charitable in accordance with section 7 of the charities and trustee investment (scotland) act 2005 and section 2 of the charities act (northern ireland) 2008."""
