the objects of the cio are:in pursuance of christian principles, the object of the cio is, for the public benefit, to promotemental health and to assist in relieving and supporting persons suffering from mental disorder orconditions of mental or emotional distress through the provision and facilitation of training andadvice to organisations working with those having some form of mental illness.nothing in this constitution shall authorise the application of property of the cio for the purposeswhich are not charitable in accordance with section 7 of the charities and trustee investment(scotland) act 2005 and section 2 of the charities act (northern ireland) 2008.
